Кто и на какой срок может претендовать на Post Study Work Visa
- Окончившие Магистратуру (Masters Degree Level 9) или получившие PhD (Doctoral Degree Level 10) смогут претендовать на 3х годичную рабочую визу. Это касается любых специальностей.
- Окончившие Postgraduate Diploma (Level 8), что является своего рода повышением квалификации получат визу на тот же срок, сколько проходила учеба. Чаще всего это 1 год обучения или чуть меньше, соответственно, и рабочая виза будет той же продолжительности. Ограничений по специальностям нет.
- Окончившие Бакалавриат (Bachelor Degree Level 7) также смогут рассчитывать на рабочую визу по длительности равной обучению. Обычно это 3 года, если учиться с нуля, хотя иногда бывает и дольше, что зависит от программы. Но так же есть возможность сделать Cross Credit, то есть перезачесть часть предметов со своего прошлого образования, чтобы, добрав нужное количество предметов, получить степень Бакалавра в Новой Зеландии. И тут также нет ограничений по специальностям.
- Окончившие Graduate Diploma (Level 7), которые по сути являются своеобразной переквалификацией или подтверждением квалификации и соответствуют последнему третьему году учебы Бакалавров, могут претендовать на Post Study Work Visa только по ряду востребованных специальностей, находящихся в списке Green List. Обычно это годовые программы, так что и рабочая виза будет на тот же срок. И работать по ней можно будет только по полученной специальности.
- Окончившие Diploma (Level 4-6). Это своего рода специальное образование. Здесь тоже обязательна привязка к списку востребованных специальностей, а срок рабочей визы будет равен сроку обучения, но обычно это от 1 до 2 лет. И также работать можно будет только согласно полученной квалификации.
- Post Study виза выдается только один раз, то есть нельзя будет потом пойти поучиться еще и заново получить такую визу.

- Graduate Diploma Level 7 по направлениям Highways Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Secondary School Teaching и Early Childhood Teaching.
- Diploma Level 4-6 уровень в таких направлениях, как Highways Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Farm Management, Agriculture, Dairy Technology и Dairy Farming.
